Latest update from The English Cheesecake Company

We hope that you and your loved ones are safe and well in these uncertain times. The current advice from the UK Government is that cafes, pubs, bars and restaurants are to close to the public, but that food delivery remains authorised. The English Cheesecake Company website and delivery service will therefore continue to operate, meaning you can continue to order cakes from us.

Delivery update

We're open and delivering our cakes nationwide as normal. Due to the increase in demand for our cakes, we would advise selecting a delivery date a few days before when the cake is needed. Click here for more information on delivery.

What if my cake hasn't arrived on my selected day?

If you are expecting a cake delivery and it hasn't arrived, please contact with your order reference number and a member of our team will help.

Looking after our customers

We have decided to take the following steps to support our customers and ensure they remain as safe as possible when placing orders with us during these challenging times:

“Leave at the door” option

We have made it easier for you to request for your delivery to be contactless, meaning your courier will leave your order at the door. If you want your delivery to be contactless, just leave a note for the courier during the checkout process.

Increased hygiene

We have introduced additional cleaning measures including hand washing stations and started conducting random and regular hand washing breaks within the production team throughout the day.

Supplier contact

We are working closely with Suppliers and Customers to monitor all the latest updates and gain insight from Retail, Foodservice and Casual Dining / Restaurants on Supply & Demand and how we can manage through this uncertain period. We have cancelled all supplier and customer meetings both on site and that any of the team were due to attend.

Looking after our employees

We are also taking extra measures to keep our employees safe during this difficult period. Those who can work from home have been told to do so and our factory staff are taking extra measures to stay safe.

Service Changes

To allow us to deal with demand and provide a high level of service for our customers, we will be switching off our phones at 4pm. We will still be able to respond to enquiries logged on website messages, emails to info / customer service and through social.

Stay updated

We will continue to keep you updated as the situation evolves. The safety and wellbeing of our staff and customers remains a top priority. Thank you for your understanding, patience and continuing support.
