Last weekend we went to the Salon du Chocolat Show at Kensington Olympia to get some inspiration (and indulge in some chocolate!)
There were some amazing creations made out of chocolate like these hollow pumpkins, London landmarks and the Eiffel Tower. There were also dresses on display made out of chocolate which models had worn on a catwalk the previous evening and a bath filled with chocolate!
We enjoyed making some salted caramel chocolates in a class run by L'atelier des chefs. Lots of demos and tasting sessions were also on throughout the day. A favourite was by Great British Bake off Winner Edd Kimber who showed how to make delicious Cocoa nib choux buns. Apparently the recipe is being published in a food magazine in January so look out for it because they look great and are simple to make!
It was the first time this show came to London and hopefully it will be back next year. We left debating what our favourite chocolates of the day were.. so we'd like you to tell us which chocolate can you not resist?
